Lecture Phase: Ablaze DTS 2026

What's been happening

I've been back in Kona for about 3 weeks now and our DTS is in full swing. They are currently going through a week of teaching on the person and work of Jesus. There are 10 students from a total of 3 nations, Chile, Brazil and America. They just found out their outreach locations and are continuing in lectures and also preparing for outreach. We will be sending one team of 7 to Papua New Guinea and one team of 7 (my team) to Fiji. Alongside this I have had and will have so many opportunities to teach topics from the books of Daniel, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians to the importance of the application of the Bible. This season has already been such an incredibly rich time of growth in leadership and teaching.

What's to come

I will be leading a team of 5 with my co-leader Shane to the nation of Fiji on a 9 week outreach. On this outreach our students will have endless opportunities to serve in a variety of ministries such as preaching, evangelism, kids ministry and so much more. I’ve been to this nation before and am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our team but especially the people of Fiji.

Leading A Bible School

In April of next year I will be leading the Bible Core course where our students will learn a method of study called the inductive method. The inductive method focuses on allowing scripture to speak for itself with background context and learning how to interpret the different genres of scripture. This school gives students tools that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Finances

I am currently raising about $2,000 to cover remaining outreach fees along with the final month of housing here in Kona. I am also trying to get more monthly support but the priority is the outreach funds. If you would like to partner in either of these ways please consider using my attached giving links.

DTS Testimony

“DTS has been a time of moving things around and getting the dust off the corners. The
Lord is restoring my view of the family, and bringing me deeper into what I feel so he can be a healer in the center. He has really shown me things I have never thought about before and taken me deeper. I'm so excited for outreach!” - DTS Student from Chile

Prayer points

If you would like to pray specifically for my team their names are Mitzy, Rebekah, Katrina, Lydia, Maya and my co-leaders name is Shane. You can be praying for our team's times of intercession before we leave so that we would really get a heart and excitement for these nations. You can also pray for the hearts of the people we are going to to be prepared for the message of the gospel.
